1.When you are looking for a new fitted kitchen it is always advisable to visit the showroom and discuss your requirements with experts who genuinely care about you. Never, ever, ever, purchase your kitchen on the same day, no matter how attractive the ‘special offer’ sounds. These ‘special offers’ are only likely to be even lower in the days or weeks when you say “No”. 2. It is always a good idea to get at least 2 designs at different budget levels, you may be surprised what you can afford.
This way you can get a clearer picture of what is right for you. It will also help establish what budget you want to set for your kitchen project. 3. Find out how long the company have been established.
Some companies offer ’20 year guarantees’ on their products but have only been trading in business 5 years or less! This gives you a good idea of the calibre of the company you are dealing with.
4. Does the company have their own fitters or are they sub-contractors?
Who is it you actually pay. Sometimes if an after sales service is required under the guarantee period – the company can blame the fitters and vice-versa. This can leave you with the problem unsolved, if you cannot establish who is accountable. 5. Deal with a well established business.
If the company has been trading 10 years or more, you know that they have survived by not over or under pricing. They would have had to have been competitive, have offered good products and of course had a good level of after sale service . 6. Always ask for testimonials and ask to see an actual installation.
This gives you a clue about the quality and service you are likely to get. [MORE] |
